FOR MENTOR
WHO CAN BE A MENTOR?
-The one who has a leading place in his/her sphere (culture, science, education, healthcare, environmental protection, economy, politics etc.), is a public figure (in some cases is well known among the professional circles),
-The one who has years of professional experience, history of work, achievements, innovations and/or initiatives,
-Who is ready to share his/her experience with a teenager or a young person interested in a particular sphere or having some experience and skills in it and at the same time ready to take up new responsibilities,
-Who is ready to provide time (with format agreed in advance) to pass the intended route with a Mentee,
-Who is ready to listen to, ask questions, provide information, suggest various solutions, ensure support and advice,
-Become a pillar for Mentee’s progress, professional orientation, self-development and self-realization․
To put in other words, Mentor is the advisor, who is able to introduce the path he/she has passed the way so that the Mentee who wants to enter that sphere is able to “use elevator” instead of climbing stairs. Mentor is the one who shortens Mentee’s path to success from point A to point B, eliminates the obstacles, evaluates risks, enlightens Mentee’s path in the dark…
For joining “My Mentor” project or being nominated as a Mentor there is a principle of cooperation. The team of the project forms a list of Mentors based on social polling as well as you can be self-nominated. After relevant study and research the team of “My Mentor” project confirms or rejects your application to become a Mentor.
